kiki leigh french bulldogs
i'm kristin, the breeder behind Kiki Leigh Frenchies located in Philadelphia, PA. We're a small family breeder that thinks life is better with Frenchies! Our pups are part of our family and treated like the stars that they are. Each litter is bred with health, structure and temperament in mind, and raised from a young age with exposures to small children, cats, other dogs and lots of fun in the Florida sun (but not too much because, well, it's hot!). Once they’re old enough, the puppies are transported up north if they haven’t been reserved in Florida. In Philadelphia, they enjoy the cooler temperatures and beautiful scenery while romping in the sun.
I have always had a love and passion for dogs. When given the opportunity to focus on only frenchies, I seized the moment. Most people don’t realize how difficult it is to breed them, from c-sections to bottle feeding, the first 3 weeks (21 days straight!) there is no sleeping. The babies must be monitored 24/7 without exception. It has been a wild and scary ride at times, but watching the puppies become part of a family makes it all worth the long hours and sleepless nights that went into keeping the puppies safe and healthy.

Our puppies are exposed to other cats and dogs (and or tortoise!) They're also handled and played with by children ranging from age 2-12 from a very young age. We begin housebreaking with puppy pads and lots of time playing outdoors. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socializing the dog with everything is the key to a stable dog, Fireworks , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation,

after 8 weeks, weather permitting, puppies begin to go outdoors for potty training and to learn about the different temperatures and elements. by 12 weeks they will be introduced to crate trainng.as members of our family, we do expect them to behave approriately, in addition to be kind and loving pets.
